INTRODUCTION TO PLAY THERAPY
This course is a standalone, unbiased, and broad introduction to the world of play therapy.
There are literally hundreds of types of play therapy in existence today.
Learn about various approaches available internationally, and experience them for yourself so that you can make an educated and time/resource saving decision in planning your pathway to becoming a play therapist. One that will best suit your personal style and convictions.
What makes play become therapy?
The therapeutic powers of play is the core foundation which all types and styles of Play Therapy are based, and the reason for powerful effects on children, adolescents or adults.
*Our courses are "no strings attached"! Meaning you don't have to commit to the whole curriculum at the start, and be bonded to your organization as a result of the financial commitment, or find out midway that you don't agree with an approach and dread completing the course due to the prior commitment! Take it one step at a time, at your own pace.
Prerequisites:
*Please note that Play Therapy is a specialised counselling/therapeutic approach, therefore it is required that you have the appropriate and relevant mental health educational qualifications, and be currently active in the field before embarking on this course.
